As of today, between 3 & 5 million children younger than 5 years old die every year due to malnutrition. One child dies every 6 seconds for frankly, no reason.

Statistics: 

• According to the World Health Organization, 178 million children are malnourished across the globe.
• 20 million children under 5, suffer from severe acute malnutrition.
• Only 3% of the 20 million children recieve the treatment that they need.

Mama Cares Foundation developed a life saving RUTF (Ready to Use Therapeutic Food).  The product is called Re:vive.  It’s a simple packet of nut paste full of the essential vitamins and minerals a child needs to reverse the effects of malnutrition.  A 30-day course of the product improves the survival rate of a severely malnourished child from 10% to 90%, taking a child from death to life.
